My mom has been vigilant in monitoring Gio, and I was relieved to witness her intimidating Gio's doctor to disclose information about his medical condition.
Gio's demeanor confirmed that the doctor had informed him of the threat, but only if he knew the woman had no choice.
I observed with joy, Gio's clenched jaws, feeling a twinge of sympathy for his vulnerability, yet I couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction at the advantage it gave me.
However, my satisfaction was short-lived when he pressed me after ending the call with his doctor, "What happened between you and Molly? If you lie to me again, there will be consequences."
