CHAPTER 59 Molly Is Not A Bad Person

937 Words

Molly's POV After closing the door, I pressed my ear against it. It was my office, but sadly, I saw the knob turning and shifted aside as Jace opened the door and stepped out. "Molly, I will drive you home," he said to me. My disappointment was as thick as fog, but I couldn't hear anything more and couldn't find an excuse to continue eavesdropping, so we left. Hank was already at home with Roger when I arrived, much to my displeasure. Roger hadn't showered, so I offered to help. "Let me help you with your shower, Roger." There was no time to change because Roger looked tired, and I wanted to get him to bed early. Unfortunately, the trip did nothing to help with his attitude. It was still as unwelcoming as before, and he yelled, "I don't need your help. Hank is here."
