We can use this as a safe house,” Amy suggested as Laura rolled up the last of the blankets. Laura shook her head, “This house is going to be in three feet of water,” she said, using the string from a broken window blind to tie the roll of blankets together. “Anything we don’t salvage now will be ruined by mold and rot.
