Zane pov. I threw him into one of the cages lying around. It was rusty, half-broken, but it didn’t matter. I wrapped more silver thread around him until it cut deep into his skin. He was covered in wounds, barely breathing. His blood soaked through the metal floor. Then I picked up the severed head of one of his rogues and tied it around his neck. “Wear it proudly,” I said. “That’s your pack now.” The head swung as he breathed, blood dripping from the torn neck, sliding through the cage gaps and pooling beneath him.
