I knew that once we started fooling around, and I called Otti my wife, that Pierce would start to get behind the idea. He reacted better than I thought he would about the news. He was still sulking like a child, but at least he hadn't hit me. We were making progress.
However, I know Pierce. Better than he thinks I do. He isn't against me, or the three of us being together. In fact, I don't even think it's Otti's first that Pierce necessarily cares about. He just doesn't want to be left behind. He doesn't want Otti to forget about him.
Like that could ever happen.
Now that we'd rescued Pierce... the fact that Otti was there... and then her killing his parents... I think that made Pierce feel more secure in his p
