"Firstly," I said, looking right at Colleen. "Why are you allowing our precious daughter to have two boyfriends?"
Colleen's jaw dropped and Otti frowned at me.
"I'm 18-years-old, Dad," Otti replied. "I can make my own decisions."
"I don't care if you're 38-years-old, you're still my daughter," I countered, not backing down at all, ever.
"Neil, she's right," Colleen agreed.
I gave her an incredulous look.
"Just listen," she said. "Otti is a good girl. She's never had a boyfriend, she's always gotten good grades, always worked, she never partied. She's a really good kid Neil, but she is 18 now.
