And to think that I thought things would be simple now that I knew the truth and Pierce's parents were taken care of.
How wrong I apparently was. How naive of me. How foolish to think that my life would go back to normal. Well, semi-normal.
"Sorry... what's an Akselsen?" Mom asked after Dad had just dropped a huge bombshell on us.
Dad told us that he was an Akselsen. That was it. That was all he said. Then he just stopped, looking at us as if we were supposed to know what that meant.
Did we? No. Did I? Absolutely not.
However, based off of Kieran and Pierce's reactions, on top of them showing up here, and the fact that Dad flat out said our lives are going to change... I know whatever it means, it isn't good.
