I snorted.
"Is that annoyance I hear in your voice, Otter?" I teased her.
Otti frowned, but the blush in her cheeks told a different story.
"What would I have to be annoyed about?" She grumbled. "I'm not the one receiving tons of gifts from people I don't know."
Otti turned around in her seat, missing the smile I gave her. I was glad, because I was sure I looked like a total loser. The smile on my face was that of the goofy variety. I couldn't help it when she voiced how I'd been feeling all day. While my friends thought I should enjoy the attention, Otti agreed that it was annoying.
