I hesitated for a moment. My parents walked ahead, not realizing that I had stopped. I wasn't sure what was going on, but... What's the worst my parents would do to me? With a sigh, I descended the stairs. I was looking at my feet, wishing I was anywhere other than here. I finally looked up when I reached the bottom, and frowned when I saw several people waiting there. All my friends and their parents were standing in the open area. The basement looks brand new and much too bright and white to be a basement. There was nothing else here, no furniture, no art, just... white walls with five other doors around the room. Strange doors too. The doors were thicker than the walls with at least three locks on the outside. They were white, but you could tell they were made of metal and not wood.
