"Kimberly," Mom replied for him, her voice not holding as much anger as I had expected.
"Anyway," Dad continued. "Arranged marriages in our family happen when we come home from college, after we establish a position in our company. I knew my time with Kimberly was coming to an end. I tried to break up with her several times, but she always saw through my plans. I set up situations for her to catch me cheating, doing hard drugs, partying, anything I could. It was like she already knew though... So, I told her the truth."
