It's been 36 hours since I woke up. I slept for a total of 27 hours, apparently. Which means that it's been almost three days since Kieran rescued me. Or, I rescued myself, as he says.
When I had woken up, Mom grilled me with questions. Kieran refused to leave me to face her alone, so he was there to answer everything. I was surprised by how honest he was with everything too. He even told Mom that he had faked the gas leak to keep an eye on us. And when Mom freaked out and said we were going home, Kieran refused.
