Antonio sighed heavily.
"My last name is Sanchez. I'm originally from Iowa," he told me. "Dorian..."
Antonio closed his eyes and took in a few deep breaths. When he opened them, he looked at me. I was shocked by the raw fear and vulnerability he showed in his eyes.
"W-will... Will Mal make me leave if... if he thinks Dorian is a bigger problem than he can handle?" he asked.
I shook my head with a smile on my face.
"There is no problem my uncle can't solve," I replied confidently.
Antonio blew out a breath.
"Dorian Barbierellie," he said.
"The younger brother to the Don of the second-largest Italian family?" I asked.
Antonio squeezed his eyes shut as he nodded, tears spilling down his face.
