I was silent for a moment.
"Why do you guys think that Pierce had a sudden change of heart?" I asked.
"What do you mean?" Franky said.
"Pierce did a lot of fu.cked up sh.it to me. He had years to do something. Why now? Why all of a sudden?" I asked.
"Gee, maybe the new attention you're getting, a.k.a. Kieran?" Franky offered.
"Or maybe because this is the last year of high school? Maybe he thinks he'll never see you again after this year," Trina suggested.
Never... see me again?
I didn't think about that at all, not seeing either of them again. I knew that I was going to a school close by, but... I'm sure Pierce is going to go to some prestigious school across the country. Kieran isn't even from here in the first place.
