When everyone was done with their meal, the King finally spoke up. "As you all know, our kind and the wolves are currently at a truce. We have decided to keep this peace treaty and we have decided to allow our children to interact and grow up together."
A few whispers echoed through the hall.
"I know this is a surprise. But, think about it. The war between the vampires and wolves is finally over, and, we are not trying to kill each other anymore. It's time we move on. There are more serious matters on ground now, and the wolves aren't our enemies. The hunters are. The rogues are. The witches are. So, if we want to fight, we must stick together."
