My blood grew cold as realization dawned on me that Kai was nowhere to be found. We have searched every nook and cranny in the house, and, yet, there was still no sign of him.
Everyone was panicking, and I was a mess. He couldn’t have disappeared. He was just right here a few minutes ago. I couldn't wrap my mind around the fact that he was nowhere to be found.
Where could he be?
"Where could he be?" Zane's panicked voice brought me back to reality, and, I realized that this was really happening.
My son was missing, and, I didn't have a clue on how to find him. My whole body shook, refusing to believe what was happening.
I couldn't imagine anything bad happening to him.
