A week later...
The morning sun was shining, and the sound of laughter and happy squeals filled the house.
Zane and I had both decided to take the day off, so we could spend some time with Kai. And that's exactly what we were doing.
Kai was having the time of his life, as he ran around the house, with Zane and I following closely behind him.
"Catch me, daddy!" Kai yelled, and Zane chuckled.
"Okay, come here!" Zane shouted, and ran towards Kai.
"No, no, no. Not that way!" Kai squealed. "Go the other way!"
"But, you told me to come this way." Zane frowned.
"No, no. You're going the wrong way." Kai giggled.
"You're such a rascal." Zane shook his head, laughing, before catching Kai, and lifting him in the air.
"Let's go, mommy! Daddy can't catch me."
