I looked at Lisa, then at Easton, and then at Lisa again.
Her brows were furrowed, and she was staring at Easton as if she wanted to stab daggers into his neck until he bled.
I let out a breath and nodded.
“Alright.”
“Are you sure?”
I nodded again.
“Okay. I’ll see you later then,” she said before walking away.
I bit the inside of my cheek and looked at Easton.
“What do you want to talk about?”
“Are you feeling okay?”
No, I wasn’t okay.
I was dizzy and felt like throwing up.
But I wasn’t going to tell him that.
“I’m fine,” I lied.
He tilted his head and looked at me seriously.
“Your eyes are really red. Have you been crying?”
“I said I didn’t want to see you, so why do you keep showing up in front of me?” I growled, ready to walk away.
