An hour and a half later, I gave my exam one last review to make sure I hadn't forgotten to answer any of the questions before getting up to turn it in. More than half of my classmates had already left the classroom, including Nate and Josh, who had no reason to worry about getting a high grade since their wealthy families could easily open doors for them after graduation.
When I reached Professor Wess's desk, Principal Presley smiled at me kindly.
After leaving the classroom, I nearly panicked when I realized that neither Cassie, Marisa, nor Lisa was waiting for me in the main hallway.
"Well, well... looks like you finally decided to crawl out of your cave," Maddie mocked. "If I were you, I'd be dying of embarrassment. Imagine having a s*x tape floating around the internet..."
