When the meeting ends with Mason suggesting he has a plan to exit peacefully, I carry Lily in my arms and step out.
I didn't expect Mason to make such a bold move. It's dangerous and risky but it feels right. He is choosing Lily and I over the life he has built for half his life.
I am happy but most importantly, I am proud of him.
I can tell that the crew is devastated by his exit. It's understandable, he has been their leader since the club started. I have to admit that choosing Zero to take over as the VP was the best decision he made for them.
