Hera POV
After I wrap up the meeting,I leave the room and head for my bike in the basement.
The cool air hitting my face does nothing to calm the storm inside me. I am almost there when Zero’s voice stops me in my tracks.
“Hera, wait.”
I turn around to see him jogging towards me.
“What do you want, Zero?” I ask when he halts before me. He followed me here,I bet he has something to say to me and I can swear it has something to do with Mason.
He steps closer, his eyes soft but serious. “I want to apologize for Mason.” he says. For a moment,I stare at him, thinking that I heard him wrong.
I scoff when I realize what he just said,crossing my arms. “Why would you apologise for him? There's nothing to apologise for.” I reply.
