Worried about Marshall and having to deal with Paul's departure from the headquarters was a lot to take in for me.
I knew I treated Paul wrongly, and I wasn't fair to him. I didn't even consider his feelings, and it all spoke wrongly of my personality. But I couldn't deny myself a chance of true love with Marshall just so that I date him.
I wish I could explain my feelings to him, so he could understand that my heart has always been with Marshall, but then, how do I explain that to him?
I just signed off Paul's transfer slip, approving his transfer back to the place he was sent here from, and dropping the pen, I felt a pang of guilt.
As I remained there, thinking of what to do next, Marshall's thoughts crossed my mind and the rate of my heartbeat increased.
