"Why aren't you saying anything?! Do you have any idea what this means?!"
Debra asked, voice filled with undeniable panic as she watched Freya with tears running down her face.
This wasn't supposed to be happening right now. This wasn't supposed to happen at all, and maybe it wouldn't have if she hadn't gone and carelessly confront Freya about her secret relationship with the vampire.
Debra felt like this was all her fault. She felt she was to blame for the disastrous turn out of the day and for that she instantly hates herself. She hated herself for being so careless and letting things turn out this way.
How could she have been so free and careless with such a private and sensitive topic to begin with? She should have been aware of the fact that anyone could walk in on them
