Lucas spoke from his place on the driver's seat as he drove us home, causing me to turn my attention to him to see him already eyeing the book in my hand.
I let out a heavy sigh as I leaned further into the warm leather of the passenger seat of the car, already way too tired and exhausted for this nature of conversation.
