Joy We sat at the table with cartons and cartons of Chinese food. Not the cheap take-out that Mommy and I usually get. Nope, Ezra ordered from the Panda Pavillion. And it seemed like he ordered everything on the menu. Soups and noodles and fried rice and dumplings and egg rolls and lots and lots of meat dishes and shrimp with crispy vegetables and sweet and spicy sauces. There was so much food that Mommy insisted Spirko and Mrs. Farley had to sit down and eat with us. That caused some confusion because Mrs. Farley said it “wasn’t appropriate,” and Daddy said, “it is now!” In the end, Spirko sat next to me, and Mrs. Farley sat across the table next to Alex.
