My anger drifts away in the silver pools of his eyes. I try to remind myself that he hasn’t exactly copped to anything. He hasn’t even apologized. Just because he’s calm and hot and shirtless and touching me does not mean anything is resolved.

He shakes his head. “No one except Konstantin knows who those men are.”
I hold up my ring finger again. “Unless you want to take this ring and put it on Konstantin, I suggest you fill me in.”
