Viya's POV Dorian came down quickly with my medical kit and handed it to me. Once he and Alpha Edmund left the room, I got to work. It took less than two minutes before Luna Gloria's eyes fluttered open. I pressed my hand gently against her shoulder. "Luna Gloria, don't move yet. I'm still treating you." "Okay." Her voice was soft, yielding. As consciousness fully returned, I could see the memories flooding back into her expression. She looked at me, and something sad crossed her features before she let out a soundless sigh. "What Hailey said to you... don't take it to heart." This was an apology—for Hailey kicking me out this morning. Then she continued, her tone more deliberate. "And what she brought up at dinner... you shouldn't give that any weight either."
