Caesar strode into the Blackwood pack house with purposeful steps. Leo had called him minutes ago with news that Luna Margaret had summoned Viya back to the pack house—a development that instantly set off warning bells in his mind. Margaret never called Viya back without some hidden agenda.
As he approached the dining room, Viya's heartfelt words stopped him cold.
"His current interest in me is nothing more than passing amusement, like playing with a pet. I don't take it seriously—why should you?"
