Viya's POV
After taking her medicine, Sophia grew drowsy and retreated to the bedroom to sleep.
The living room felt empty as I picked up my tablet, planning to watch reality shows in bed.
Just as I stood up, my phone lit up with a message.
Daddy: [Come over for dinner.]
I used to have Caesar saved in my contacts as "father," but after realizing my feelings for him, I'd changed it to "Daddy." Now that he was unblocked from my phone, the contact name remained unchanged, and I hadn't thought to edit it.
I glanced at the time. Amber had only gone into his apartment five minutes ago.
What was I supposed to do there? Be a third wheel?
I replied: [Already ate.]
That was a lie. With Sophia sick and needing bland food, I'd ordered her some light soup. I'd only taken a
