Right now, I was driving back to the Wilde Pack house.
Thompson had called me twice already, saying my mother had been so furious after I'd had her escorted out of Willowbrook that day that she'd made herself ill.
Blood is blood, after all. I had a gap in my afternoon schedule, so I figured I'd stop by and check on her.
I arrived right around lunchtime. Luna Beth sat at the head of the table, with my mother, Luna Scarlett, and Miranda seated on either side. At first glance, it almost looked harmonious.
But the moment I walked through the door, that illusion shattered.
