They kept kissing each other without needing to catch their breaths; I couldn’t watch any longer, so I rolled my wheelchair and headed back to my room, although it wasn’t easy as I hadn’t fully recovered.
“Mrs. Clinton, I was waiting for you,” a woman dressed in her nursing uniform said as I pushed the door open.
She ran to assist me immediately.
“Are you alright?” she asked, spotting the tears in my eyes.
"Yes, I’m fine; something entered my eye.” I lied awkwardly, blinking away tears, but the nurse suspiciously looked at me; she wasn’t easy to fool.
“Is it your husband?” She insisted.
“No, why were you looking for me?” I changed the topic.
“Oh yes, I came to check if the milk came, may I?” She asked, trying to reach for my hospital gown so she could have full access.
