I woke up to the sound of a monitor. I looked around my surroundings and realized I was in the hospital. My body was connected to many IVs; two with blood were connected to my right arm and one with water to my left.
“Ouch!” I cried as I touched the bandage wrapped around my head.
“Careful,” I heard a familiar voice, Jade. I noticed he was holding my hands and looking at his face; you could tell how tired he was.
“What am I… doing here, and what are you doing here?” I removed my hands from his.
“I’m glad you’re awake; the doctor said you’ll be awake soon. I’ll call Loren to let her know.” He said and almost walked away when the nurse came in. “She’s up,” he told her.
“Alright, please go back to your room. The doctor needs to check on you too.” She told him, and that’s when I realized
