“Nice to finally meet you, Jessica; I’m William, and this is my wife.” The man whom Lee said was his father introduced.
“My pleasure, Mr. and Mrs. Williams.” I said as we shook hands, the woman took me in her arms, then rubbing my back, she pulled away as she wiped away imaginary tears.
“I’m so emotional right now; I thought I’d lost my son forever.” She was confusing me, but I just smiled.
“Pardon my manners; this is Lucy, my brother's daughter, and her husband Jade.” She added, and surprisingly, both Jade and Lucy smiled.
“Nice to meet you, Jessica.” They said it in unison.
“Jessica, my son says you’re a lawyer,” Mrs. Williams asked, taking my hands as she led me to a couch.
"Yes, I’m studying law,” I confirmed and glanced at Lee, who followed his father and Jade to a certain room.
