I woke up wrapped in warmth, the scent of pine and something distinctly Aaron surrounding me. His arm was heavy across my waist, his body molding perfectly against mine. The steady rhythm of his breathing tickled the back of my neck, and for a moment, I just lay there, absorbing the feeling of being safe, cherished.
Loved.
A slow smile curled my lips as I shifted slightly, turning in his arms to face him. His dark lashes fanned over his cheekbones, his jaw relaxed in sleep. “He’s too handsome”,I told Autumn, resisting the urge to trace my fingers over the sharp angles of his face. Instead, I leaned in and pressed a soft kiss to the tip of his nose.
“They all are” she replyed dreamilly. Such a gooner.
