"You’re not going anywhere." A chill run through my spine and I jolted away, sprinting in the dark fog, praying the forest didn’t swallow me whole. A crack between the branches . I ran faster, my heart pounding, but the mist seemed really to swallow me whole, blocking my path, choking my breath. I couldn’t see the wolves, but I could feel them, their presence suffocating, right behind me. Then came the voice—a female voice- so sudden, so unexpected, it made me stumble. “Whoa, girl, slow down!
