Telling my mates I was pregnant again should have been one of the happiest moments of my life. And in a way, it was.
Alan, Alek, and Aaron had been over the moon, each of them convinced he was the one responsible for giving me our first daughter. Which was ridiculous, considering they shared the exact same genetics. There was no point in arguing about it, but that didn’t stop them from puffing up their chests and acting like smug assholes.
"I knew it," Alan had declared, arms crossed over his chest, smirking like he’d won something. "I told you we’d get a girl next."
"Bullshit," Alek had shot back, shaking his head. "I’m the one who knocked her up this time."
