Lila had never been the patient type. More than thirty minutes have passed.
She glanced toward the boys’ restroom again.
“He’s taking too long,” she muttered.
Another minute went by then she sighed. “I’m checking on him, even if it's the boys restroom, I don't care.” she said to herself.
She started walking.
In the restroom. A few minutes later, after we had both composed ourselves. My heart was still racing when I reached for the restroom door. I pulled it open and glanced at the Hallway.
“Lila?” I froze.
She was already walking toward the entrance, worry written all over her face.
“Jax!” she called.
Everything happened in a split second.
Eli was right behind me and was about to come out too. Before she could notice someone was behind me, I shoved him back into the restroom.
