The next day, I went to work. I had on my red scrubs as I walked into the lab. I can wear any colored scrubs I want, but red is my favorite color.
I went over to the desk, where I worked, and relieved Charlotte, who works the night shift. She is an older human, who is always reminding me that she is going to retire finally next year because of her aching back.
That’s something I noticed about humans, they are always complaining about aches and pains. I am grateful for being a supernatural being: we don’t get backaches and arthritis like humans do. I think it’s because of how our bodies transform.
