**Easton** When I watched Arianna walk away from me at the diner, Gavin started to whimper in my head. My wolf doesn’t whimper. “She hasn’t rejected us,” I linked to my wolf. “Not yet, at least. I don’t understand why I can’t feel her wolf. If I could talk to her wolf…” He linked back. I sighed; I had no answer for that. I looked into the distance where Arianna was walking away. There is something about that woman. A thought came to me. “Gavin, maybe she is like Samantha, the alpha’s mate,” I linked to him. “Samantha?” he asked. “Her wolf was repressed or something. Maybe that’s why you can’t feel her wolf,” I said to him. “Then why was she at the run the other night? Everyone was in wolf form who was there,” Gavin linked back. He had a point there.
