The moon was bright and full, with hardly any clouds to cover it. It looked like the moon festival run would have the perfect night.
I glanced around at everyone gathering for tonight’s festivities. You could see the excitement on their faces.
“This is so exciting, Arianna! I don’t think we’ve ever had a pack run before,” my friend Jenna said to me.
“Really? You’ve never done a pack run?” I asked her.
“No, it's a bit hard when you have humans in town too,” Jenna told me.
I nodded in understanding. That was why I had decided to live here in this pack; I knew I could blend in easily.
I watched as Jenna’s eyes lit up with excitement. “Oh, Easton is here!” she squeaked.
