Locked With The Monster

606 Words
Mia’s POV The panic room door slammed shut, locking us inside the reinforced safe haven. The chaos outside became muffled — distant gunfire and shouts fading into background noise. Inside, it was just me, Damien, and the heavy silence between us. He leaned against the wall, blood still seeping from his wounds, breathing hard. His eyes never left me. Even injured and exhausted, he looked dangerous. Possessive. I stood a few feet away, still naked, my body sticky with his c*m and the remnants of the fight. My hand pressed protectively over my belly. The paternity test threat hung in the air like a blade. “Are you hurt?” Damien asked, voice rough. He reached for me, but I stepped back. “Don’t,” I whispered. “Not right now.” The small room felt suffocating. Forced proximity at its most intense — no windows, no escape, just steel walls and the man who might have lied about everything. Damien slid down the wall to sit on the floor, wincing. “You believe him, don’t you? Elias.” “I don’t know what to believe anymore.” My voice cracked. “He said the baby is his. The drugs, the protocol… my father was in on it. How am I supposed to trust anything you say?” He looked up at me, pain and raw obsession in his eyes. “Because from the moment I took you on our wedding night, I knew you were different. I was supposed to use you for an heir and let you go. But every time I touched you, every time I filled you… I couldn’t let go. That baby is mine, Mia. I feel it.” Tears burned my eyes. I wanted to believe him so badly it hurt. Part of me still craved his touch, his dominance, the way he made me feel safe even in the middle of hell. But the doubt was eating me alive. I moved closer despite myself and knelt beside him. He immediately pulled me into his lap, his arms wrapping around me tightly. His blood smeared on my skin, but I didn’t pull away. We were trapped together — physically, emotionally, completely. “You’re mine,” he murmured against my neck, his hand sliding down to rest on my belly. “No test, no Elias, no one will take you from me.” His touch was possessive, almost desperate. I felt him hardening against me even through the pain. My body responded against my will, heat pooling between my legs. But before anything could happen, the emergency screen on the wall flickered to life. Elias’s face appeared, smiling coldly. “Comfortable in there, lovebirds? The panic room is secure… for now. But I have something you’ll want to see.” A new document loaded on the screen. Paternity Test Results — 99.9% match: Dr. Elias Kane. My stomach dropped. I pushed away from Damien, scrambling back. “No… this can’t be real.” Damien’s face turned deadly. “It’s fake. He’s manipulating the system.” Elias laughed through the screen. “Come out, Mia. The baby belongs to the stronger man. And soon, you will too.” The screen went black. Damien reached for me again, but I curled into myself, sobbing quietly. If the test was real… then everything between us was built on a lie. And the worst part? Even now, trapped in this small room with a bleeding, dangerous man who claimed me so fiercely… a dark, terrifying part of me still wanted him. How much longer could I fight what my body and heart were telling me?
