Ghosts of the Past

Mia’s POV The rain pounded against the windshield like bullets as I sped through the dark streets, my hands slick with Damien’s blood. He slumped in the passenger seat, pale and breathing shallowly, but his hand never left my thigh possessive even while bleeding out. “Sophia…” he whispered again, voice raw. “She’s alive.” I gripped the steering wheel tighter, the paternity test papers crumpled in my lap. The real one the one Damien swore was legitimate said the baby was his. But the video my father sent showed Sophia, heavily pregnant, unconscious in a hospital bed. Everything was a lie. Or maybe nothing was. “Talk to me,” I demanded, voice shaking. “No more secrets, Damien. Not now.” He coughed, wincing as fresh blood soaked through the makeshift bandage on his chest. “Sophia was my fiancée two years ago. She got pregnant. Harrington wanted to use the child as leverage against me. I thought he killed her… but if she’s alive…” His voice broke. The ruthless billionaire who had claimed me so brutally every night suddenly looked human. Broken. I reached over and squeezed his hand, even as anger and fear warred inside me. “And the drugs? The test saying the baby isn’t yours?” “Planted,” he growled. “I had you tested the day after our wedding night. The results are in the glove compartment. That baby is mine, Mia. Ours.” I pulled the papers out with one hand while driving. The official lab stamp looked real. 99.9% match. Tears blurred my vision. “Then why is my father saying otherwise? Why is Sophia alive?” Damien’s grip tightened on my thigh, sliding higher under my bloody robe until his fingers brushed my still-sticky, c*m-filled p***y. Even now, injured and running for our lives, his touch was possessive. “Because they want to break us,” he said darkly. “Pull over. I need to be inside you. Need to remind you who you belong to.” “Damien, you’re shot—” “Pull. Over.” The command in his voice sent heat flooding through me despite everything. I swerved into an abandoned parking lot under an overpass and killed the engine. He dragged me over the console onto his lap, ignoring the pain. His thick c**k was already hard, pressing against my entrance as he pushed the robe open. “Look at me,” he ordered, voice rough with pain and lust. “This is real.” He thrust up into me in one deep stroke, stretching my soaked p***y around him. I cried out, nails digging into his shoulders as I sank down, taking every inch. “f**k… Damien…” I moaned, riding him desperately in the confined space. The car rocked with our movements. Rain hammered the roof. His blood smeared across my breasts as I bounced on his c**k. He gripped my hips bruisingly, thrusting up hard despite his wound. “This p***y knows who it belongs to. Say it.” “It’s yours,” I sobbed, grinding down on him. “I’m yours.” Our mouths crashed together in a messy, bloody kiss. The mix of fear, betrayal, love, and raw lust was overwhelming. I came hard within minutes, walls clenching around him as I squirted all over his lap. Damien groaned and flooded me again, filling my already pregnant womb with another thick load. We stayed connected, foreheads pressed together, breathing heavily. “I love you,” he whispered. “I didn’t plan any of this… but I’d burn the world again to keep you.” Before I could respond, headlights flooded the car. Multiple vehicles surrounded us. My father stepped out of the lead car, flanked by men. And beside him… a heavily pregnant Sophia, looking weak but alive, eyes locked on Damien with a mixture of pain and obsession. “Damien!” she called out, voice trembling. “They told me you were dead. They told me you abandoned me and our child.” Damien’s entire body stiffened beneath me. His c**k twitched inside me as shock rippled through him. “Sophia…” he breathed. My father smiled coldly. “Surprise. The real mother of your first child is back. And she’s carrying your heir. The one you thought you lost.” Sophia’s eyes flicked to me, then down to where Damien and I were still joined. “You replaced me so quickly,” she said bitterly. “With a contract whore.” Rage and heartbreak exploded inside me. I climbed off Damien, c*m dripping down my legs, and grabbed the gun from the dashboard. “Stay away from us,” I warned, pointing it at my father. But Sophia stepped forward, hand on her belly. “Damien… our baby needs its father. Come back to me. This girl is just a pawn.” Damien looked torn for the first time — pain, guilt, and dark obsession warring on his face. He reached for me, pulling me back against him protectively even as he stared at Sophia. “Mia is my wife,” he said, voice low and dangerous. “The child she carries is mine. Whatever game you’re playing ends now.” My father raised his gun. “Wrong answer.” Gunshots rang out again. Damien shoved me down and returned fire, but he was weakening fast. One of my father’s men smashed the driver window and yanked me out of the car. I screamed, kicking wildly. Damien roared in fury, trying to reach me, but Sophia threw herself at him, clinging desperately. “Choose, Damien!” my father shouted over the chaos. “The mother of your first child… or the girl carrying the new one.” Damien’s eyes met mine across the violence filled with raw, desperate love and murderous rage. “Mia!” he bellowed, fighting to get to me. “I’m coming for you! Both of you are mine!” A heavy blow to the back of my head sent stars exploding across my vision. The last thing I saw before darkness took me was Damien reaching for me, bloodied and broken, while Sophia whispered something in his ear.
