The mysterious man’s words hung in the air like poison.
“That baby is mine.”
I stood frozen, naked, Damien’s c*m still dripping down my thighs from his claiming moments ago. Damien was on his knees, bleeding heavily from multiple wounds, but his eyes burned with murderous fury as he glared at the intruder.
“Who the hell are you?” Damien snarled, trying to push himself up despite the pain.
The man smiled, cold and confident. “Dr. Elias Kane. I was the one who prepared Mia for you on the wedding night. While you were busy with your power games, I made sure my seed would take root.”
My stomach twisted violently. “You’re lying.”
Elias stepped closer, his eyes raking over my body with dark hunger. “Am I? The fertility drugs your father gave you were mixed with my sperm. Damien only thought he was the first.”
Damien roared and lunged forward, but the guards held him down. Blood poured from his wounds.
I grabbed the gun with shaking hands and pointed it at Elias.
“Stay away from us,” I whispered, my voice trembling but fierce.
Elias chuckled. “You’re carrying my child, Mia. And once Damien is gone, you’ll belong to me completely. I’ve watched you scream his name every night… but soon you’ll be screaming mine.”
Damien’s eyes met mine — raw, desperate, and full of dark obsession.
“Mia,” he rasped. “Don’t listen to him. Run.”
But I couldn’t run. Not anymore.
I lowered the gun slightly, tears falling. “If the baby isn’t yours, Damien… then why does my body still crave only you?”
Damien’s gaze softened for a split second. “Because you’re mine. From the first thrust. From the first time I filled you.”
Elias laughed and motioned to his men. “Take her.”
Chaos erupted.
Damien fought like a wounded animal, taking down one guard despite his injuries. I fired the gun, hitting another man in the leg.
In the middle of the fight, Elias grabbed me from behind, his hand sliding down my body possessively.
“Feel that?” he whispered in my ear. “This is only the beginning.”
Damien saw it and lost all control. With a primal roar, he broke free and tackled Elias, both of them crashing to the ground.
I stood there, naked, covered in blood and c*m, watching the two monsters fight over me and the baby growing inside me.
The truth was still hidden.
But one thing was becoming terrifyingly clear — I was no longer just a contract wife.
I was the prize in a war between monsters.
