Andrew is quiet for a moment. "That's a dangerous strategy."
"It's the only strategy." I start walking again. "Helen Terry dared to call me names. And now she's going to pay for it."
"Even if it means you pay too?"
"I'll take a plea deal if I have to. Community service. Probation. Whatever." I shrug. "But Helen? Helen is going to prison. And she's going to lose her daughter. Everyone in this city is going to know exactly what happens when you provoke Samuel Daves."
