(Helen's POV)
I open a new folder on my phone. Label it "Evidence."
Upload all twenty photos.
Then I pull up my lawyer's number. The one I called last week. The one who said he could help me with a custody case if I had the right evidence.
He answers on the third ring.
"Ms. Terry. What can I do for you?"
"I'm ready to file," I say. "Custody petition for Rose York. And I have evidence that Caroline York is unfit to have any custody of any child. Including her husband's daughter."
"What kind of evidence?"
"Photographic proof of an ongoing affair with her ex-husband Samuel Davies. Including images taken this morning of them in an intimate embrace."
Silence.
Then: "Send me everything you have. I'll review it and we can file by end of day."
