The wedding day finally came, and I sat in the room nervous. I felt fear and joy in my heart, and I didn't know how to handle it. Two great things had happened in the morning. Jane told me her father had apprehended Nikolai, and I heard Nathan Dupoin was in Kalroy. Speculations stated he had come because of me, but my mother never told me she contacted him, so she figured he was in for business. Besides, he came to Kalroy for business sometimes. I didn't want to trouble myself about it, but even though I did not know the guy and my mother had made him seem like a douchebag, I would have loved to have a chance to speak to him and learn his side of the story.
