Lauchlan and his unit arrived back at the Guest House late the next afternoon, and he looked at the map on the back of the original form he’d filled in, and traced out a path to the castle’s front gate; the only entry for the public. Looking at the distance and knew they weren’t going to make it before the gates closed today.
The Guest House sat in the third ring of the city, which was the largest ring, and from just that he knew it was at least an hour and a half walk, maybe even more. The sun would go down shortly and that was when the gates would close.
Yet again, he was going to have to wait; nothing inside the wolfen realm moved quickly, due to there being no technology, or it was very limited. One day in the future, they might be able to catch up and get things like solar
