Juniper POV I was sitting cross-legged on the living room floor with my laptop balanced on the coffee table, surrounded by scattered notes and half-empty coffee cups. The project was due in three days, and I was finally making progress on the last section, the one Tristan and I were supposed to finish together before everything got complicated.
