Nicole Harper ~•~ I hated that my first thought was to wear them and send pictures to him. I hated that despite moving far away from him, I still couldn’t completely move on. The thought irritated me and I was tempted to put them in the trash can, but just before I could dump them, I paused. He did tear the ones I bought anyway. Instead of throwing them out, I stuffed them in the deepest ends of my closet. Then I went to sleep and pretended like I could forget about it the next day. The next day came with a new surprise, which was my mother in front of my apartment door. Again. I pulled open the door, ready to tell her that I didn’t move out just so she could visit unannounced every day, but paused when I saw her face. She seemed upset. “Uh, Mom? Are you okay?” I asked carefully.
