Austin's lips curved into a teasing smile. "What if I said I didn't like it ? Would you get mad ?"
Kaius frowned slightly, his golden eyes narrowing. "You didn't like it ? Was my technique that bad ?"
She tilted her head, challenging. "What do you think ?"
Kaius gave a slow shrug. "Well, in that case…"
Austin could already tell what he was about to do. She quickly covered her mouth with her hand.
Kaius just chuckled and gently pulled it away. His eyes sparkled with amusement.
"You're not getting off that easy," he murmured.
She tried to twist out of his arms, but he only pulled her closer. His lips captured hers again, firm and warm.
This time, the kiss stole her breath completely.
When he finally let her go, he didn't speak right away. He just looked at her.
