The guards looked uncertain, but before they could stop him, a calm voice came from inside. “Let him in,” Ainsley said. The door creaked open, and Ellison walked in with a relaxed swagger, his hands in his pockets, a smirk already forming. “You’re surprisingly well-informed,” Ainsley muttered, lying weakly on the hospital bed.
